FCA Volleyball Club has been so much more than just a volleyball club to me. It has brought some of the best people into my life and given me friendships that I will always be grateful for. From the beginning, I felt like I could truly be myself without having to worry about being judged or feeling like I needed to change who I was to fit in. Before FCA, I never pictured myself playing volleyball in college. I always thought I would focus more on my studies and that volleyball would eventually become something I left behind after high school. But playing club through FCA helped me rediscover a passion for the game that I didn’t even realize I had. It challenged me, pushed me to grow, and reminded me how much I truly love volleyball. Because of FCA, I found myself wanting to continue playing at the next level and pursue college volleyball, something I never thought I would want for myself. The coaches and staff have always been there for me, not only when it came to volleyball, but also when I needed someone to talk to or needed support in life. They genuinely care about you as a person, and that made FCA feel like a family rather than just a team. What makes FCA especially meaningful to me is that it is Christ-centered. Being surrounded by people who encourage you in your faith and remind you to keep Christ at the center of everything has made my experience even more special. FCA has helped me grow not only as a volleyball player, but also as a person and in my relationship with Christ. I am incredibly thankful for the friendships, memories, coaches, and experiences FCA has given me. It helped me find a passion I never knew I had, gave me the confidence to pursue college volleyball, and surrounded me with people who encouraged me both on and off the court. I will always be grateful to have been a part of the FCA family. 

Our daughter played for the FCA Volleyball Club for three years, and it was truly an amazing experience. During that time, she not only grew tremendously as a volleyball player, but also built strong, lasting friendships that she will carry with her for many years to come.

Under the guidance and leadership of the incredible coaches, she also developed greater confidence—not only in her abilities as an athlete, but also as a young woman. The club’s focus went far beyond simply winning games. There was a genuine commitment to helping each player grow, improve, and develop as a person as well as an athlete.

That commitment was evident through the weekly conditioning sessions at local gyms, position-specific training, and two practices each week. Additionally, the coaches held regular one-on-one meetings with our daughter to track personal goals/accomplishments. The coaches consistently challenged the girls to work hard, improve their skills, and become better teammates and individuals. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact FCA Volleyball has had on our daughter and for the memories and relationships she will take with her for years to come.
